"Your System Brings Me Down" shows the characters toward the end of their mid-morning break time at work, still listening to a popular radio broadcast / live podcast, and reflecting on how ridiculously messed up the current social, political and economic systems have become. That makes them very angry, but they channel that anger into a positive energy and commitment to changing the flawed system.
Across its 33 conceptual tracks, important themes are explored which are common to every young person's life in the U.S., in fact, the world.
Most musical tracks within the album are preceded by an interstitial audio track driving the narrative, as heard within the present environment of the main character(s).
